RILLKT Bob Hancock was the guest of a surprise leaving dinner arranged by Surrey Knight Companions at Surbiton Masonic Centre on Thursday 30th March.
A splendid feast including the centres renowned scotch egg starter, with roast venison as a main course together with copious wine was enjoyed by 30 Knight Companions. ILLKTs Andrew Sales and Simon McCarthy proposed a toast to the outgoing IG with a moving tribute. ILLKT Arthur Johnson presented the IG with a voucher for a two night stay at The Belfry Golf Club including meals and two rounds of golf.
The IG gave an emotional response thanking those present and all within the division for their overwhelming support and generosity during his ten years as Head of Surrey Red Cross of Constantine adding that Mrs Hancock would be delighted to give him a Golf lesson or two at the Belfrey.
