A Christmas Message from your Intendant General
Bob HancockDear Worthy Knights,

Christmas approaches and is the time of year when again we rejoice in the birth of our Divine Master who in the words of St John the Apostle was the word that became flesh and dwelt amongst us. Our Royal Founder Constantine recognised the magnitude of his birth and actively promoted Christianity in his lifetime as is evident in our wonderful rituals.

This year has again been a very successful one for the Division. In April at our AGM we welcomed The Grand Eusebius and presented a cheque for £500 in support of the Grand Sovereigns Care for Children Fund. In August I presented a cheque for £2,500 to the Cherry Tree Charity at West Clandon on behalf of the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children fund. This small charity supporting severely disabled children and their families were delighted with the donation. Photographs are posted here on our website.

On the social front again thanks to Ill Kt Paul Fitzgerald the Division in conjunction with Middlesex Division enjoyed a superb luncheon at the RAF Club in Piccadilly. Over one thousand pounds was raised for Charity. A similar event is planned for 2020.

We continue to enjoy and welcome new candidates to the order. This was expressed at the recent Appendant Orders meeting at Empress Helena Conclave on 20th November. Six new knights enjoyed a superb ceremony, over forty knights attended and thirty four dined afterwards in the splendid Elizabethan Suite.

The active search for Royal Arch Masons to join the Order is a continuing process. We enjoy full support from the PGM/Grand Supt for Surrey who has kindly assented to the presentation of a small booklet describing all the select and progressive orders to every new Master Mason in a Surrey lodge. The booklet is near completion. As always worthy knights I would urge you personally to seek out suitable candidates for our order.

The Divisional AGM is at Croydon on 25th April 2020. Please get the date in your diary and come along to support the Division and meet the Rev Timothy.

As ever I thank all for your support and effort over the past year and pray continued success for your conclaves.

Together with the Deputy Intendant General, Andrew Sales, I wish you and your families a happy and peaceful Christmas and good health and happiness for 2020.

In Faith Unity and Zeal

Bob Hancock
