Donation for Crohn’s in Childhood Research Association's (CICRA)

On Thursday 24th November, R.Illustrious Knight Bob Hancock, the Intendant General for Surrey, accompanied by the Divisional Chamberlain Bob Tuthill, visited Crohn’s in Childhood Research Association's (CICRA) offices in Sutton to present a cheque for £1,000 to aid their fundraising.

We were hoping to meet Margaret Lee, the Association’s chairperson who founded CICRA 38 years ago because her son, Graham (who was then 9 years old), had been diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. It is due to her that the Association continues its scientific research.

Unfortunately, Margaret wasn’t well on the day, but the two Bobs had the pleasure of meeting Laura Doyle (Fundraising Administrator) and Jayne Boyd-Bell (Membership Administrator), both shown in the photograph with Bob Hancock, when they were presented with the cheque kindly authorised by the Most Illustrious Grand Sovereign.
