Intendant general visits Perseid Upper school, morden, 29th February

Bob Hancock our Intendant General had the great pleasure to visit Perseid Upper School, Morden and present a cheque for £4000.00 from the Grand Sovereigns Care for Children Fund. The money will be used to part fund their project to improve the indoor play area.

Perseid Upper School has 46 severely handicapped children aged from 14 to 19 years of age. Mr David Erridge Governor at the School said ‘We are extremely grateful to the Red Cross of Constantine for making this generous donation’.

Our Divisional Photographer Bob Tuthill was on hand to take photographs and managed to persuade the Intendant General to take off his shoes and ‘leap’ into the play area - well it was a lleap day! Your will see from the photos that he did not need a lot of persuasion.
